L4 Cares Programs

Our Programs

At L4 Cares, our programs are designed to provide hope, healing, and community through the love of Christ. Whether supporting children facing serious medical challenges, honoring veterans and first responders, caring for seniors, or responding to disasters, each program reflects our commitment to serving the least, the last, the lost, and the lonely. Together with our volunteers, donors, and community partners, we strive to ensure that no one faces life's challenges alone.

Operation Superhero

Bringing Hope and Joy to Children Facing Medical Challenges

Operation Superhero is the flagship outreach program of L4 Cares, bringing encouragement, laughter, and meaningful connection to children receiving medical treatment. Through weekly visits to pediatric hospitals, our superheroes, princesses, and volunteers provide story time, arts and crafts, games, special celebrations, and one-on-one interactions that help children and families momentarily escape the challenges of illness and treatment.

Through these visits, we remind children and their families that they are seen, supported, and never alone in their journey.

Hero Camp

Creating Memories Beyond the Hospital Walls

Hero Camp provides restorative retreats for families navigating serious pediatric medical diagnoses. Designed as a place of joy, connection, and renewal, Hero Camp allows families to step away from medical appointments, hospital stays, and daily stressors to simply enjoy being together.

Families participate in fun activities, shared experiences, and meaningful moments while connecting with others who understand their journey. Hero Camp creates opportunities for laughter, friendship, encouragement, and lasting memories that strengthen families during some of life's most challenging seasons.

As this program continues to grow, L4 Cares is working toward the future development of Strive 7 Ranch, a permanent retreat destination where families can find hope, healing, rest, and renewal year-round.

Have a Heart

Supporting Families Through Critical Cardiac Journeys

Have a Heart supports families of children awaiting or recovering from heart transplants and other critical cardiac procedures by providing gift cards, comfort items, and practical assistance during extended hospital stays. This program helps ease financial burdens while offering encouragement and support during an incredibly difficult time.

Operation Not Forgotten

Serving Seniors with Compassion and Connection

Operation Not Forgotten is dedicated to honoring and supporting senior adults, particularly those facing isolation, loneliness, financial hardship, or health challenges. Through holiday celebrations, care packages, handwritten cards, entertainment events, and acts of kindness throughout the year, we remind seniors that they are valued, remembered, and loved.

Operation Gratitude

Honoring Those Who Serve

Operation Gratitude supports veterans, active-duty military personnel, first responders, and their families through appreciation events, care packages, family support initiatives, and community recognition programs. Whether welcoming service members home, assisting military families during difficult seasons, or simply expressing gratitude for their sacrifices, we are committed to serving those who have faithfully served others.

Operation In Crisis

Responding When Communities Need It Most

Operation In Crisis provides immediate relief and long-term recovery support to individuals, families, and communities impacted by natural disasters, personal emergencies, and unexpected hardships. From distributing essential supplies and emergency assistance to coordinating volunteers and supporting rebuilding efforts, we work alongside communities to help restore hope, stability, and healing during times of crisis.
