Our Story
Founded on a calling to serve the least, the last, the lost, and the lonely, L4 Cares has grown into a faith-based nonprofit dedicated to bringing hope, healing, and support to individuals and families facing life's greatest challenges.
Since 2017, we have served children facing pediatric medical battles, families in crisis, seniors, veterans, first responders, and communities recovering from disaster. What began as a vision to make a difference in the lives of others has grown into a network of programs, volunteers, donors, and community partners working together to create meaningful impact throughout Texas and beyond.
As our reach has grown, so has the team behind the mission. Today, our board members, advisors, volunteers, and supporters bring diverse experience in nonprofit leadership, business, finance, healthcare, education, public safety, and community engagement. Together, they help guide the organization with integrity, compassion, and a shared commitment to serving others.
Looking ahead, we are pursuing our most ambitious vision yet—Strive 7 Ranch, the future home of Hero Camp. More than a destination, Strive 7 Ranch will be a place of hope, healing, rest, and renewal where families facing pediatric medical challenges can reconnect, create lasting memories, and experience the love of Christ in a peaceful and supportive environment.
While there is still work to be done, we believe God continues to open doors, provide opportunities, and bring together the people and resources needed to turn this vision into reality. Together, we are building a legacy of faith, service, and hope for generations to come.
